Principal Engineer
This position is a senior ranking and recognized technical specialist for the organization in the application of Eclipse core capability and technologies within a major sector of the business. Through deep and thorough knowledge of the advanced theories, concepts, principles and processes of applied engineering science, the Principal Engineer acts as the technical leader and internal point of reference for the Eclipse body of product Engineering knowledge, the principal architect of new and improved product engineering methods and processes, and may be called upon to lead advanced projects with major long-term implications for the business. The role is additionally responsible for mentoring junior level Engineers and enabling their technical growth through effective knowledge transfer and by keeping abreast of new scientific methods and developments affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending major changes in emphasis of products, processes, or procedures.
